Aerogel blankets are a high performance silica-based insulation product with a thermal conductivity 30% better than leading foam-board products.

They are ideal for insulating space constrained parts of a building, such as floors, window reveals and room-in-roof ceilings.

This product is a repurposed product that had been saved from landfill. The product has been stored in accordance with the manufacturers requirements. Independent fire testing has been carried out to confirm the performance.

Like all insulation products, Aerogel blankets perform best when their installation is airtight. This requires careful attention to detail and suitable membranes and tapes. We will provide advice specific to your application, please get in touch for more details.

Application

Each pack contains two 10mm sheets and one 5mm sheet of the following sizes:

• 700 x 648 (10mm thk)
• 700 x 590 (10mm thk)
•  700 x 535 (5mm thk)

Aerogel blankets are ideal for insulation floors, walls, roofs, campervans, boats and more.

They can be used in curved build-ups and are suitable for direct application of plaster.
